Another 4 days will be 1st Ramahdan. End of the month will be Hari Merdeka. Putting them into perspective, there are more events to celebrate Merdeka Day instead of Ramahdan especially this weekend. At Senawang Taipan behind McDonald's, large tent is already setup for tonight's events. I heard N.Sembilan MB will be attending. I'm positive large crowds can be pulled in. Dataran Senawang is popular weekend night spot. That will be an advantage to the organizer.

At the same spot, you can see many smaller tents. Those are for people who celebrate Ramahdan. Yes, for Ramahdan feasts. Those tents will see food, cookies, eyewares and even lingeries at thier doors. Some of us are looking forward for Ramadhan/Merdeka for something like that. Some of us are happier to look forward for Hari Raya now for new outfits and hypermarkets, malls and small businesses are looking forward for deeper pockets.

But alas are we not supposed to celebrate Ramadhan to ask forgiveness from Allah, to be closer to Allah, to improve our morality, spirituality, and hope for abundant rewards?
